The Spartan is a 45 foot long 1950s vintage trailer built by J. Paul Getty set among massive oaks overlooking a one acre organic farm.
Recently renewed with care to preserve and enhance its historic charm, the Spartan is like an Airstream, only bigger and better! The Spartan is like a tiny house, but vintage and so much more swanky!
The Spartan is surrounded by micro farms and horse ranches. It’s wide open, private and peaceful, yet just a beautiful a 5 minute drive to the historic village of Arroyo Grande, a 12 minute drive to downtown SLO, and a 10 minute drive to the beach. Truly the best of town & country
Things to Know Before Booking
- The Spartan is a 1950s vintage trailer and a vintage experience! It has been recently renewed, but still retains much of it’s 1950s styling and function. The bathroom is small. The windows open with a hand crank. Stuff like that . . .
- The Spartan is made of our airstream-style aluminum, which means it get’s warm and cold with the weather. There is an amazing forced air heater that heats the Spartan well when needed. There are fans, but NO AIR CONDITIONING, which is not an issue except for a couple of warm weeks each each year, usually in early September. Be aware and take care!
- The Spartan is located about 250 ft away from The Studio, another Wild Hair Retreat. The two spaces are very separate and private, but you may occasionally see other guests on the property.
